Innovative technologies such as AI, blockchain, cloud, data analytics, and technology-enabled outsourcing in financial services are reshaping the way firms do business.

3. Diversity, Inclusion & Talent

FTLL aligns & supports the dynamics of the recently released 3rd theme, namely Diversity, Inclusion & Talent for the future under the Ireland for Finance updated 2026 report, the skill sets required are constantly evolving. Meeting those requirements is supported through two channels: first, within FTLL strong systems and programmes to enable people in Ireland to develop the necessary and required skills, and second, attracting people with the skills to come to Ireland. A diverse workforce can lead to increased innovation, improved decision making, and new perspectives.

4. Regionalisation, Innovation & Promotion

FTLL aligns & supports the dynamics of the recently released 4th theme, namely Regionalisation, Innovation and Promotion for the future under the Ireland for Finance updated 2026 report, one of the successes of recent years has been the considerable broadening of the sector’s geographical footprint throughout Ireland. The sector is truly nationwide, in realising its full potential a key priority will be promoting the benefits of establishing in the regions outside Dublin, such as ATU Donegal. International promotional activities by the IDA, Enterprise Ireland are crucial. Both agencies have a comprehensive network of overseas offices with experienced staff interacting daily with new and existing client firms. They identify relevant events, conferences and networking opportunities to broaden Ireland’s reach, target new FinTech Investment opportunities.

5. Operating/RegTech Environment

FTLL aligns & supports the dynamics of the recently released 5th theme, namely Operating, RegTech Environment for the future under the Ireland for Finance updated 2026 report, policy, legislation, effective regulation, a competent and solution-oriented administrative system are key enablers to ensure that Ireland has an effective efficient operating environment for providing FinTech/RegTech services from Ireland supporting ongoing growth in the sector.
